Nationwide Newspapers

Nationwide Newspapers are more affordable and the task somewhat simplified when you’re looking to launch a nationwide advertising campaign. Nationwide Newspapers are distributed nationally so you’ll find a higher circulation and a lower cost per thousand. 

Nationwide newspapers include USA Today, New York Times, etc.

There are also nationwide newspaper groups or networks. Many of these groups/networks have a huge number of affiliate newspapers, thus making it easy to blanket a large percentage of the nation. 

One nationwide newspaper group is Thrifty Nickel/American Classifieds. Placing Thrifty Nickel ads is a good way to test your product of service as you can choose to run in just one zone, rather than all four zones. I have clients who have run their Thrifty Nickel ads in all four zones but used different ad copy for each zone.

The largest daily nationwide newspaper is USA Today. It reaches an affluent audience of 5 million readers for the weekend edition, circulation being at 2.6 million. USA Today advertising is heavily promoted among those advertising a home-based business. Statewide Newspaper Groups are popular because they blanket a whole state with dailies, weeklies and shoppers. You can advertise in nationwide newspapers without having to contact each newspaper individually through the statewide newspaper groups. 

NANI is a very large nationwide newspaper group, with a circulation of 33 million and a readership of over 50 million, now that is a lot of eyeballs seeing your ad!
